About AMCA Membership
The American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) founded in 1935, is an international association of individuals and organizations interested in mosquito and other vector control. Our mission is to provide leadership, information, and education leading to the enhancement of health and quality of life through the suppression of mosquitoes and other vector transmitted diseases and the reduction of annoyance levels caused by mosquito and other vectors and pest of public health importance.
The membership includes, but is not limited to: students, researches, professors, regulators, public employees, private employees, industry employees, mosquito control district superintendents, workers, commissioners and trustees and many others. Typically states that have significant mosquito problems have between 50 and 100 members per state, with some states having in excess 100 members. The total budgets for mosquito control in the United States exceed $200,000,000.
Membership Period: July 1 - June 30.
