Memorial Lecture Honoree and Memorial
Lecture Award
The Memorial Lecture Honoree must be one who has made exceptional
contributions to the broad field of mosquito control during his lifetime. If
there is more than one honoree in a given year, then the group must have made
significant contributions as a team or equal stature in the same time frame and
to the same aspect of mosquito control. The Memorial Lecturer Award is given to
an outstanding speaker (one per year) to present the annual Memorial Lecture in
honor of the Memorial Lecture Honoree. The Memorial Lecture Award is not
limited to a member of AMCA, but the recipient should be a recognized authority
in the broad field of vector control.
