Regional Directors
In accordance with AMCA Bylaws, the Association is soliciting candidates for Regional Director for the following positions for inclusion on the upcoming ballots which will be sent to all voting members between September 15 and October 15.

Industry:                     Current Director: Larry Smith (eligible for re-election)

North Pacific:              Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Alberta,
                                   British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan, Yukon
                                   Current Director: James Lunders

A Regional Director Nominating Committee is assembled for each vacant Director position, and consists of the Technical Advisor and two appointees from the Region suggested by the incumbent Regional Director (if not a candidate) or the Technical Advisor and two members appointed from the Region by the President, if the incumbent Regional Director is a candidate. Candidates for the position of Regional Director should be nominated by their state or regional associations based on their active participation in AMCA, active involvement in mosquito control research and/or operational work, active participation in local, state or regional associations and willingness to work as a Regional Director. Ten or more members from a region may also recommend a candidate for consideration.
