American Mosquito Control Association Technical Advisor - Request for Proposal

AMCA is seeking an independent contractor to fulfill a specific scope of work relative to its Technical Advisor functions.
The Technical Advisor is responsible for providing the following services: oversight, guidance and continuity within the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) for approved projects; public relations; interaction with state, regional and local mosquito associations, and industry; liaison with legislative and regulatory consultants and bodies and related activities (“Scope of Work”). The Technical Advisor consults with the AMCA President, who represents the Board of Directors (BOD), and/or a designee as appointed by the President. In coordination with the BOD, the Technical Advisor plans, organizes, and directs various components of the AMCA, conducts related external work as deemed appropriate, and serves as the primary representative for AMCA including participation with regional, state, federal and nongovernmental agencies, organizations and programs.
