Annual Meeting Registration


Dear Valued Members and Partners,

After significant discussion and analysis, including input from local, state, and federal partners, the AMCA Board of Directors has decided to cancel our organization’s annual meeting scheduled in Portland, Oregon 16-20 March 2020.

At our core, AMCA and our members are public health professionals and are dedicated to advancing the welfare of the public by preventing and minimizing the risk of pathogens.

Given the current and projected health risks associated with COVID-19, the Board of Directors concluded that it is in the best interest of our members, partners, and the general public to not convene this year.

As you can imagine, such a cancellation will have an adverse impact on AMCA’s finances. AMCA leadership and staff are doing all they can to minimize such losses.

In the next several days, AMCA leadership and staff will be in touch with annual meeting registrants, exhibitors, and sponsors to express our sincere appreciation for your continued commitment to AMCA and review the process for refunds.

AMCA leadership will also announce plans to convene originally scheduled governance and committee meetings virtually.
