AMCA Privacy Statement

This Privacy statement demonstrates the American Mosquito Control Association's (AMCA) firm commitment to privacy. The following states how AMCA collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the www.mosquito.org website ("Site"). This privacy statement applies to the Site and all products and services offered by AMCA.

AMCA takes our data responsibilities very seriously and we want you to have confidence in how we handle your personal data. AMCA users with password authorization can change their password and other personal information by clicking on "Manage Profile" on their Profile homepage. The data provided will only be used by AMCA to conduct the necessary business of the association in serving you.  Please contact AMCA via amca@mosquito.org if you wish to have your information deleted. Your contact information is being collected for the purpose of being able to communicate with you. Other data collected is being used to help customize your experience within our organization.

 

AMCA Membership

By joining/renewing AMCA, you are agreeing under the AMCA privacy statement that AMCA can use your personal information for the purpose of servicing your membership. 

 

Meeting Registration

By registering for AMCA meetings, you are agreeing under the AMCA privacy statement that AMCA can use your personal information for the purpose of updating you about this meeting. If you wish to be informed about future meetings or future membership offerings, you can opt-in here[HG1] .

 

 

Personally identifiable information

We may collect personally identifiable information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personally identifiable information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identifiable information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
